LightForce braces are custom made specifically for your teeth. We take a scan of your mouth, then digitally plan each bracket of your braces individually.
They are similar shapes to regular braces but are a translucent white or clear colour to blend in with your teeth.
Treatment with LightForce is usually slightly faster than regular braces. The individual design of your braces means that a lot of the customization that the doctors do in chairside adjustments is incorporated into the brackets before the braces even go on.
We usually see our LightForce braces patients less frequently than regular braces. An average appointment interval is every 6-8 weeks.

Cleaning is just like regular braces. Brush your teeth normally but pay special attention to getting all around the brackets, particularly up near the gums. You should also floss once a day using either superfloss designed specifically for braces or a floss threader that can be used with any regular floss.
